The Sault Area Foundation for Education (SAFE) is a non-profit whose mission is to advance and promote public understanding concerning the historical, cultural, social, and economic aspects of Sault Sainte Marie and the greater Eastern Upper Peninsula Region. Support for our community and its local businesses has proven to be pivotal in contributing to this purpose. That’s why we support the Downtown Development Authority’s local Facade Improvement Program through SAFE, a Sault Convention & Visitors Bureau subsidiary. By encouraging business and property owners to enhance the exterior of their buildings, this program boosts the local economy while also making people more aware of everything the city has to offer from educational resources to various products and services. Your donation to the Facade Improvement program would support the shared goals of both organizations, while also helping the DDA become eligible for future opportunities.
